INTRODUCTION: TIR Trainers must complete a rigorous certification process to qualify for certification, and re-certification is required every three years. Additional strength arises from the diversity of backgrounds and dedication to principles that these people represent.

Certified TIR trainers deliver the basic TIR workshop and some also deliver second-level TIR-related workshops and advanced workshops and courses. The TIR workshop is currently being presented in English, French, German, and Arabic languages in more than a dozen countries, from Australia to Russia.
