  • VV: How long have you been a TIR trainer?
    Elizabeth: Since November 2005.

  • VV: What inspired you to become a TIR trainer?
    Elizabeth: I have been doing TIR since 1996 and i know how valuable it is in my practice and wanted other professionals to benefit from it as well.

  • VV: Are you willing to travel to deliver training, if so under what conditions?
    Elizabeth: I will travel anywhere as long as the workshop had at least 6 students.

  • VV: Do you have a private practice?
    Elizabeth: I work 3 days a week in private practice at Campbelltown, just outside of Sydney. I enjoy delivering TIR and other related techniques to clients on a regular basis to keep up my practical skills. Through doing this I am continuing to learn more about the techniques and how the varied problems that can be resolved for clients.

  • VV: Besides TIR, what other things are you interested in?
    Elizabeth: I work 3 days a week in private practice at Campbelltown, just outside of Sydney.   • VV: Describe your professional background?
    Elizabeth: I started in nursing and turned to counselling through the Life Line course and REBT. I enjoyed it so much I started studying sociology and eventually psychology. In 1996 I started working for the Sex Workers Outreach Project in Sydney and transferred to Manager of Wollongong Branch in 1998. I was also on the Port Kembla "Safe Houses" Committee. Most of the outreach in Wollongong was co agency, predominantly Drug & Alcohol, ACON and Sexual Health.

    Elizabeth: TIR Workshop, TIR-Expanded Applications, Life Stress Reduction, and the Schema.
